Our Campaign
A moment to grow
The YMCA has long been a place where people connect, stay active, and feel they belong. As more people turn to the Y, we have an opportunity to grow in ways that strengthen community, expand access, and ensure everyone has room to thrive.
Like many communities, we’re seeing more older adults experience social isolation, and too many youth lack safe, welcoming places to spend time after school. At the same time, demand for wellness, recreation, and gathering spaces continues to increase. These growing needs highlight the importance of spaces that bring people together and support well-being for every generation.
We grow Because
Our community is changing.
The 60+ population is growing, and more older adults are looking for a welcoming place to build connection and routine, stay active in ways that feel safe and approachable, and support overall well-being. Programs and spaces that reduce isolation, encourage movement, and make it easier to show up—consistently.
Kids need safe places after school.
With 90–120 middle schoolers at the Y each day and demand still growing, we’re expanding opportunities for safe supervision, positive relationships, active play, and programs that help youth thrive.
Families need support, together.
More parents and caregivers are looking for options that fit real schedules—and spaces that reduce barriers to participation. We’re growing to create more room for families to move, connect, and spend quality time together, with the support they need to show up consistently.
Everyone deserves access to spaces that help them thrive.
As more people turn to the Y for wellness, connection, and community, our current capacity is being stretched. We’re growing to create more access, less waiting, and more opportunities for people of every age and ability to gather, play, learn, and grow—together.
