To work in our community! Your tax-deductible donations to the YMCA help make vital programs available to your friends and neighbors and support our mission of nurturing youth development, promoting healthy living, and fostering community through social responsibility.

Your Gifts at Work

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, your contributions to the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA are tax-deductible. We direct donations toward many programs, including Safety Around Water, Child Development Center, and Summer Day Camp—critical services that save and transform lives in our community.

In 2024, the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA provided more than $125,000 in membership financial assistance to the community. We awarded a total of 449 financial assistance units in 2024
