Giving to the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA ...
One person can truly make an impact and change lives by giving to the YMCA. People can donate their time, talent, or financial resources to build up the programs and mission of the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA.
The Grand Traverse Bay YMCA has been serving Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Leelanau counties since 1964. The life-changing work we do with children, teens, adults, and families would not be possible without the support of hundreds of volunteers and donors.
Giving Programs:
Invest in Youth – An annual scholarship appeal to provide the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA with the necessary funds to insure people can participate in YMCA programs regardless of financial means. The Board of Directors and their volunteer teams go out to the public to tell the YMCA story and ask people to participate. Last year we were able to give $120,000 in scholarship support to kids and families in needs because of the generosity of people and provide program support.

The Essential Phase is a 103,000 sq.ft. “Essential phase”, with $12 million in donations needed for building.
The Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation is our partner in this regional transformational effort.
